Privacy

We store what you type: your email, business name, and whichever of contact name, phone, website, Google Business Profile link, industry, and message you chose to fill in. We also record which page you submitted from.

We store your country and browser user-agent string, both of which your browser sends with every request anyway.

We do not store your IP address. We store a salted one-way hash of it instead. That lets us count repeat submissions from the same source to stop spam, and nothing else. The original address cannot be recovered from it.

We use this to reply to you about Front Desk. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

If you fill in the form, we will email you back about Front Desk. That is the only thing we will email you about unless you ask for something else. There is no newsletter you get signed up to by submitting the form.

Every email we send identifies Tan & Fam Inc. and gives you a way to tell us to stop. Replying “unsubscribe” to any of them is enough, and we act on it within ten business days.

We use Google Analytics to count page views and a small number of named events, such as whether someone submitted the form or clicked through to book a call. It sets a cookie, which is what the banner on your first visit is asking about.

Decline and Google Analytics never loads at all — not loaded-but-ignored, never fetched — and the rest of the site behaves exactly the same. Nothing else counts you in its place: decline and this site measures nothing about your visit. Your choice is remembered in your own browser.

The same Google Analytics property covers tanandfaminc.com, so a visit that starts there and continues here is counted once rather than twice. We do not run advertising or remarketing tags on this site, and nothing here is passed to an ad network.

When you use the dashboard we hold your email address and which business locations you are allowed to see, so we can sign you in and show you the right thing. Sign-in is a one-time link sent to your email. There is no password to store.

We hold the reviews and posts we draft for you: the review text and rating Google gives us, the drafted reply, whether you approved, edited, or rejected it, and when it was published. We also hold a written description of your voice, built from replies you have published yourself.

Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in. Vercel hosts this site. Google Analytics receives page views and the named events above, but only if you allowed the cookie banner. Anthropic receives review text and your voice description in order to draft a reply; drafts are not used to train their models. Google is where reviews come from and where approved replies are published.

The automation that ties these together runs on infrastructure Tan & Fam Inc. operates directly, rather than a third-party platform we resell.

Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States.

Form submissions are kept while we are talking to you and for up to two years after, so we know we have spoken before. Client review and post records are kept for as long as you are a client, and deleted within 90 days of you leaving unless you ask us to keep them.

Email tan@tanandfaminc.com and ask. We will send you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We aim to answer within 30 days.

Deleting your record here does not remove replies already published to your Google Business Profile. Those are on Google, under your control, and you can edit or remove them there.
